The program acts as a training ground and platform for new voices on international topics connected to the Philadelphia region.

In December 2018, it was announced that eight of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpieces are on the nominee list to be considered for a UNESCO World Heritage designation. A Sight to See: Rina Banerjee Exhibition at PAFA

Rare memorabilia on display at the CC Morris Cricket Library

The CC Morris Cricket Library, residing at Haverford College and located near their cricket field, is named after C. Christopher Morris, an American cricket player, who played for the Haverford College cricket team in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The commemorative library opened in 1970 and is the largest collection of cricket literature and memorabilia in the western hemisphere.

Global Conversations with Rafael Porrata-Doria, Jr., Professor of Law, Temple University

Professor Porrata-Doria graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974 and received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1977. He also holds an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Professor Porrata-Doria practiced law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Miami, Florida. Professor Porrata-Doria has also served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations throughout the nation. He is Chair of the Hispanic Association of Contractors and Enterprises, a Philadelphia economic development organization, and past Chair of the Association of Yale Alumni, Yale University’s national alumni organization. He is a 2003 recipient of the Yale Medal, the University’s highest alumni award.

New Tomb for Saint Katherine Drexel; Remains to be Relocated to Philadelphia
