Each year, we come together to shine a light on the resilience, innovation, and leadership that immigrants bring to our communities. Set against the iconic backdrop of the National Constitution Center, this event reflects The Welcoming Center's unity, drive, and commitment, which are so critical during this pivotal moment for our country.

This year, we are honored to recognize two extraordinary leaders whose vision and dedication exemplify the power of immigrant contributions:
Hamdi Ulukaya, Founder & CEO of Chobani and Founder of the Tent Partnership for Refugees, will receive the Solas Award in recognition of his visionary leadership and tireless efforts to uplift refugee communities worldwide. Through innovative business practices and impactful philanthropy, Hamdi has not only empowered refugees but also inspired global conversations about equity, inclusion, and shared prosperity.
Luc-Henri Fortune will be honored with the Anne O’Callaghan Award, named after The Welcoming Center’s visionary founder. Luc-Henri's unwavering commitment to supporting immigrants, particularly within the Haitian community, is a testament to resilience and determination. His impactful work through The Welcoming Center’s Immigrant Leadership Institute and our quarterly Convocatoria demonstrates the power of leadership in fostering hope and opportunity.
