Since 1984, SEAMAAC has brought crucially needed support to community members throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Today SEAMAAC stands as one of the oldest and largest refugee-founded agencies in the region, serving constituencies from over 40 countries representing over 45 distinct linguistic communities. With multiple program sites in South Philadelphia, each year SEAMAAC serves thousands of immigrant, refugee and native-born individuals and families through our programs in community development, civic engagement, hunger relief, education, and health & social services.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was formed by the 2010 merger between all-girls Springside School and all-boys Chestnut Hill Academy, private Pre-K–12 schools on adjacent campuses.

St. James School is a tuition-free, private Episcopal middle school that provides students with year-round academic, physical, spiritual and creative nourishment while working to uplift the surrounding community.

Stenton is one of the earliest, best-preserved, and most authentic historic houses in Philadelphia. Completed in 1730 as a country-seat, plantation house for James Logan - Secretary to William Penn; merchant, politician, justice, scientist, and scholar – Stenton was home to six generations of the Logan family, as well as a diverse community of servants and enslaved Africans, including Dinah, who lived and labored at Stenton for over 50 years.

SACC-Philadelphia was founded in 1999 as a non-profit member organization serving the Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware region. Our mission is to encourage and promote an exchange of technology, trade and culture between Scandinavia and the Greater Philadelphia regions, while providing members with a spectrum of services and social events.
