Printmaking by the People: Citywide Voices of 2026

How else did you think the ”Mural Capital of the World” would celebrate America’s 250th anniversary? Since 1984, Mural Arts Philadelphia has helped produce thousands of murals in the city, and in 2026, the organization oversees a very special art and mural project. Printmaking by the People is just that: dedicated programming engaging the public through discussions led by creators, participant-created prints and posters, and — in 2026 — a major mural in Philly examining what 2026 means for America, including what we all have in common and what changes we’d like to see.
