Portraits of Pride and Resilience

Join Creative Philadelphia and Councilmember Rue Landau for the opening reception of Portraits of Pride and Resilience, a juried Art in City Hall exhibition featuring 27 LGBTQ+ artists from across the Philadelphia region.
In honor of Pride Month, Portraits of Pride and Resilience explores identity, visibility, and self-expression through portraiture and features a variety of media. The exhibition also includes Living in Color, a photographic installation by Rosko Scott of the Attic Youth Center, celebrating the colors of the Pride flags through youth portraiture.
This is more than an exhibition—it’s a statement of resilience, freedom, and belonging in the “People’s Building.”
