Philadelphia Woodwork and Furniture in Context at Stenton Zoom Program

Woodworker and Furniture Conservator Christopher Storb along with Stenton Curator Laura Keim will take you on a virtual visual tour and discussion through some of the rooms inside Stenton, a remarkable c.1730 early Georgian gentleman’s house built as the plantation seat of Philadelphia’s Quaker Logan family. Storb and Keim will discuss the 1720s house construction and will consider some of the furniture with eyes on form, materials, and construction details. Jointly presented by The Furniture Society and Stenton Museum.
