Lafayette Exhibition at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

See the original terra cotta bust of Lafayette by William Rush, modelled in 1824 during the Tour. Rush was responsible for the sculptures on the William Strickland-designed grand triumphal arch that greeted the Lafayette parade in front of Independence Hall in 1824.
