Independence Hall

Join General Lafayette and other dignitaries and bands for a procession to Independence Hall commemoration the 200th Anniversary of Lafayette's ceremonial arrival in Philadelphia in 1824!

Schedule:

9:30 - Opening Ceremonies - National Constitution Center lawn

10:00 - Step off of Parade across Independence Mall, including Music, Drumming, Uniformed and Costumed marchers

10:00-3:00 - Musical Performances, Tours, Cultural/Historical exhibits, History Pop-Ups, throughout Independence Mall

10:30 - General Lafayette travels in Horse Drawn Carriage from Carpenter's Hall to Independence Hall escorted by the mounted First City Troop

10:30 - Welcome Lafayette Program Independence Hall

12:00 Noon - "Lafayette's Enduring Legacy" Presentation National Constitution Center

3:30 - Naturalization Ceremony Betsy Ross House
