Founder’s Day at Girard College

Celebrate Girard College’s Founder’s Day a tradition honoring Stephen Girard’s vision and lasting legacy. This annual event welcomes alumni, students, staff, and the community for a day of reconnection and celebration.

As part of the festivities, the museum will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM for self-guided visits, and there will be a donation-based "take-a-book" table featuring Girard memorabilia.

This year’s Founder’s Day also coincides with World Heritage Week, highlighting the historic significance of Girard College as a key part of Philadelphia’s international story. Guests will enjoy campus tours, a commemorative ceremony, and opportunities to engage with Girard’s transformative educational legacy.
