A Conversation with Wilbur Ross, Former Secretary of Commerce

Join us for a conversation with Former Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross as he shares insights into his life and the current landscape of trade and tariffs. He will be joined by Keith Aleardi, President of The Haverford Trust, for a fireside chat alongside our President and CEO, Lauren Swartz.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Wilbur Ross became the “King of Bankruptcy” by being able to spot troubled companies, turning them around, and selling them for profit. Before being appointed as the Secretary of Commerce by President Trump in 2017, Ross helped restructure more than $400 billion in assets from companies going bankrupt, such as Pan Am and Texaco. His strategies and dealmaking skills fostered relationships with prominent figures such as King Charles, Warren Buffett, Carl Icahn, the Rothschild family, Steve Wynn, Lakshmi Mittal, Mike Milken, and many others.
Secretary Ross will offer opening remarks and sit alongside World Affairs CEO, Lauren Swartz, and Keith Aleardi, President of The Harverford Trust Company.
With tariffs once again under consideration under the new administration, Secretary Ross, who served during the first Trump administration, will offer his insights and experiences on the strategy.
