More Than A Handout

More Than A Handout (MTH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established by Founder and CEO, Jessie Stephenson. MTH was founded from the Project H.O.P.E. (Helping Overlooked People to Excel) which began in 2013.
Project H.O.P.E. which provides gap filling basic needs such as Toiletries; Non-Perishable Food items; and Transportation Assistance. MTH has an expectation of combating the effects of deep poverty amongst the homeless, hungry, and hovering (working poor).

The Merriam-Webster defines a brick as something used to create a path and a name for a good-hearted person. The MTH service objective is to partner with good-hearted individuals and organizations to help the homeless, hungry, and hovering (working poor) to create a new path as they rebuild their lives one brick at a time.

We at MTH strive to provide expanded basic needs services to the local community at large and this is being accomplished by partnerships, programs and projects which provides the 3-H (Homeless, Hungry, & Hovering) groups with education, encouragement, and essentials to rebuild lives.
