Ambassador Ganem is a career diplomat with extensive experience in government affairs and international relations, serving as Consul General of Brazil in New York since May 1, 2023. A law graduate, he completed postgraduate studies in International Relations and International Economic Affairs at the Brazilian Diplomatic Academy and New York University. He has also taught International Economic Relations at FAAP University and Mackenzie University in São Paulo at the master’s level.

Throughout his distinguished career, Ambassador Ganem has held senior roles in Brazil and abroad, including Diplomatic and Economic Advisor to Vice President Marco Maciel, Secretary of International Relations of São Paulo, and Special Advisor to Vice President Geraldo Alckmin during the 2022–2023 government transition. Internationally, he has served as Brazil’s Ambassador to Panama, Consul General in Atlanta, Miami, and San Francisco, Chargé d’Affaires in Paris, Representative to the OECD, and delegate to the European Commission. He has also participated in numerous presidential missions and high-level meetings at the United Nations and the OAS. He is married to Hosana Bittencourt Senna Ganem and is the father of three daughters.
