Basque Country Consular Corps Association Philadelphia

Based in New York City, Aranguren Laflin serves as the official representative of the Basque Government (Eusko Jaurlaritza), working under the General Secretariat for External Action to promote cultural, economic, and political relations between the Basque Country and North America. 

As of early 2026, Aranguren Laflin remains active in her role, recently seen engaging with the North American Basque Organizations (NABO) to maintain community ties and support cultural initiatives. She has been instrumental in the Basque Government's "Euskadi Global" strategy, which recently included plans to expand the Basque presence with a permanent office in Washington D.C.
