Gary Wooten is the Events and Community Manager at Global Philadelphia Association (GPA). He has been with GPA for four years, overseeing community programming across the city, including World Heritage Week, International Day of Monuments and Sites, and two major year-end events: the World Heritage City Celebration and the Globy Awards. Gary moved to Philadelphia from Baltimore, Maryland, to study Sociology, Global Studies, and Japanese at Temple University. 

Passionate about civic engagement, he has served on multiple young professional boards and actively participates in various civic and community organizations as a volunteer and member.
