Margaret M. O'Sullivan is the Executive Director of Nationalities Service Center, managing one of the major non-profit immigration social and legal service providers in the region. 
Ms. O'Sullivan will lead the NSC team in its efforts to help immigrants and refugees build new lives.

Ms. O'Sullivan is a seasoned executive who has provided leadership for more than twenty years in the Philadelphia non-profit sector working on programs that have served some of the region's most vulnerable populations. She has extensive experience in the areas of executive management, strategic planning, program development, fundraising, risk and consequence management and inter-cultural competence.

While Ms. O'Sullivan has had the privilege of serving in leadership positions in several high impact humanitarian organizations, the cornerstone of her career is her nearly fifteen year tenure with the American Red Cross of Southeastern PA, where she held several positions including Chief Program Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. O'Sullivan also participated in key international disaster response, recovery and capacity building initiatives in Armenia, Romania, Germany and Bosnia Herzegovina during her tenure. She was also instrumental in community outreach efforts in the Chinatown community during the 9/11 World Trade Center response in Lower Manhattan as well as assisting the National Red Cross with developing a long-term recovery model for September 11th victims.

Ms. O'Sullivan holds a Bachelor's Degree from Boston University and executive certificates from the Wharton School of Education's Leading Organizational Change Program and the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Principles of Business Program.

Ms. O'Sullivan is a dual citizen of the U.S.A. and the Republic of Ireland. As the seventh of ten children born to hardworking Irish Immigrants and raised in the Philadelphia area, Ms. O'Sullivan worked diligently to put herself through college, experiencing along the way the barriers of opportunities and financing facing most first generation Americans.
