Since 2021, Joanna co-founded Empowered Financial Strategies. Serves as Founder/Partner/Financial Advisor & Special Needs Planner, Joanna focus on delivering custom financial solutions to help meet each client’s evolving needs. Her practice is primarily dedicated to helping families who have loved ones with special needs plan for and protect their future. In addition, she is passionate about educating women about financial planning to help bridge their confidence gap with their money so they can feel more empowered to take charge of their financial future.
Prior to starting her own business, Joanna worked as Financial Advisor at 1847Financial and MWealth Advisors. Joanna also spent 5 years at a regional financial services firm and 6 years at a leading pharmaceutical company. Her past experience in both industries has shaped her into the knowledgeable, organized and client service focused financial advisor she is today.

Joanna is a dedicated Financial Advisor who develops and implements custom financial solutions to help meet each client's evolving needs. During the planning process, she helps clients identify and clarify specific objectives to achieve their financial goals.
“Dance like no one is watching...yes, I do that! If there is music, I dance!” When Joanna is not working she is spending time with her daughter, with whom she shares a passion for music and dance. Her daughter, Lillian, has been involved in dance since the age of 3. Joanna and her daughter enjoy attending concerts, listening to a variety of music genres and “dancing like no one is watching.”
Joanna resides in Blue Bell, PA with her daughter.
“Take care of yourself mentally & physically. Running and yoga has provided my life with balance, peace, and overall well-being. Life can often get in the way of taking care of you first...invest in your mind, your body, your soul...invest in your most important asset...YOU!” Joanna has a passion for health & wellness. She ran her first half marathon in 2015 and has several scheduled for 2016.
“Give back - it feels good!” Joanna is the champion of the Make Someone’s Day committee at 1847Financial. This committee focuses on employee appreciation and charitable giving. “When you perform an act of kindness for someone, it not only makes the receiver feel good, but also energizes you!” Joanna believes in the power of paying it forward.
