Akin Ross was raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago, known for hosting one of the largest carnivals in the world. In 2007, he founded the costume design company Stronjeh. He has been actively involved in carnivals throughout the Caribbean, including St. Martin, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, and Trinidad and Miami.
