Philadelphia African Restaurant Week

African Restaurant is a celebration of the best of  African, African American and Caribbean cuisine. It would include reduced price (discounted) menus at participating restaurants from June 20 – 30 for the 2024 edition.

The week will include:

• Discounted/Reduced price menus at participating restaurants across the DIaspora (African, African American and Caribbean)
• African Restaurant Week Festival at Love Park on June 20
• Cooking Classes
• Chef-hosted events and more.

MISSION:

• Boosting the local economy by highlighting various small businesses  (including restaurants, cafes, bars) and celebrating African/Diaspora  cuisine and culture.
• Fighting hunger by partnering with local kitchens, restaurants and other organizations working to help alleviate this problem.
• Promoting healthy eating options with our chefs and various partners - and connecting the community to  where these options are available.
• Fostering social good, and building communal and cultural ties.
