About the Speaker:

As a first-generation American (Scottish and Dominican), Elizabeth's passion is immigrant research and tracing families back to their country of origin. Elizabeth was born and raised in the northeast in a bilingual household and recently moved back to New Jersey after living in Miami for the last twenty years. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish and is a graduate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. She is an independent contractor for Legacy Tree Genealogists and Ancestry.com and is the owner of Legacy Tree Genealogy. She specializes in U.S. South-Atlantic and Mid-Atlantic states, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Italy, and Latin America, including Mexico, South America, and the Spanish Caribbean.
