Lost Mansions of the Main Line

This talk looks at notable houses and estates of the Main Line that have been lost and the reasons why. Some may be familiar--Penshurst in Narberth, La Ronda and Bloomfield in Villanova, but others not well known--Old Oaks in Rosemont, Oaklands in Devon, and Longmeadow House in Gladwyne. It also includes a discussion of how many have survived and their new uses as schools, clubs, and retirement communities.
