Let's Make Minicomics!

Join author/illustrator Terry LaBan to learn about the fundamentals of comics and basic cartooning principles before you create “foldy” minicomics, so called because they can be made by folding a single sheet of 8.5” X 11” paper.  

Terry is the author of the graphic novel "Mendel the Mess Up", a National Jewish Book Award Finalist, has contributed comics and illustrations to hundreds of publications, and has written and drawn three indie comic book series for Fantagraphics Books and Dark Horse Comics.  He also wrote for DC Vertigo and Donald Duck comics for Disney Egmont.  He's taught comics and graphic narrative at Jefferson University and the Philadelphia Academy of the Fine Arts.
