Friday Night Jazz | Swingtime Celebration: The Sweethearts of Rhythm

Inspired by the legendary International Sweethearts of Rhythm, the first all-female, multi-racial jazz band of the 1930s and ’40s, these talented women played every instrument and explored every rhythm, bringing their own interpretations to each song. Some of Philly’s finest female vocalists will present the Sweethearts’ favorites like Jump Children, Honeysuckle Rose, and Sweet Georgia Brown.
