FIFA World Cup 26 and FIFA FanFestival

The eyes of the world will be on Philadelphia as Lincoln Financial Field (home to the NFL’s Eagles) becomes one of just 11 U.S. stadiums to host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament, with five pool play matchups plus a July Fourth round-of-16 Knockout Stage tilt. Group stage matches — featuring nations from semi-randomly assigned groups — take place between Sunday, June 14, 2026, and Saturday, June 27, 2026, at “The Linc.” Philly will also host a FIFA FanFestival at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park featuring giant screens, food, music, parties and more.
