Celebrating Trinidad & Tobago Flag Raising Day in Philadelphia and Camden

The Trinidad & Tobago Multicultural Alliance (TTMA) and the American Caribbean Cultural Alliance (ACCA), both founded by Keith C. Hodge, together with The Trinidad and Tobago Association of Pennsylvania (TATAOP), led by Founder and President Dr. Rosalind Graves, are proud to invite the public to a vibrant celebration honoring Trinidad and Tobago’s rich cultural legacy and its influential presence in the City of Philadelphia.

Join us on Friday, September 5th at 2:30 PM for Trinidad and Tobago Flag Raising Day at the City Hall Flag Court (15th & Market Street), Philadelphia, PA. This special event will pay tribute to distinguished Trinidadian and Tobagonian natives who have made a lasting impact in promoting Caribbean culture and proudly representing their homeland in the Philadelphia
region.

Following the flag-raising ceremony, guests are invited to a reception and meet-and-greet with our honorees on the fourth floor of City Hall. We are honored to announce that the celebration of Trinidad and Tobago’s Independence and Republic Day will be officiated by The Honorable J. Andre Laveau, Consul General of Trinidad and Tobago to New York.

Earlier that day, at 10:00 AM, the Trinidad and Tobago flag will also be raised at Camden City Hall (520 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08101). All are welcome to attend this additional ceremony and share in the pride of our heritage.

We encourage you to bring your family and friends to this joyful occasion, as we celebrate the receipt of an official Proclamation from the City of Philadelphia, Proclamation from the City of Camden, NJ and recognize the achievements of our esteemed honorees.
