BlackStar Film Festival

BlackStar Film Festival is an annual celebration of the visual and storytelling traditions of the global majority, showcasing films by Black, Brown, and Indigenous creators from around the world. Now in its 15th year, the 2026 festival features 91 films from more than 30 countries, alongside conversations, performances, and community gatherings throughout Philadelphia, with additional events available online for audiences worldwide. Screenings will take place at the Kimmel Center, Suzanne Roberts Theatre, and The Wilma Theater on Broad Street, with additional venues for parties and special events. Passes are on sale now.
