Barnes Cinema: Sitting Still
The program features Gina Angelone’s 2024 documentary Sitting Still, exploring the life and work of landscape architect Laurie Olin, the influential urban designer whose vision and human-centered approach transformed how we interact with public spaces. Olin is responsible for iconic and beloved parks, gardens, and public spaces, including Hudson Yards and Bryant Park in New York, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, and the outdoor campus here at the Barnes.
A brief lecture and conversation with Angelone will follow the film.
