The Carpenters' Company of the City & County of Philadelphia 2026 Gala

caprnter

The Carpenters' Company of the City and County of Philadelphia is delighted to invite you to a momentous evening at the Masonic Temple. Please join us for cocktails, a special awards ceremony, dinner and live music.

We are pleased to announce that we will present the Master Builders' Award to The Girard Estate. The Carpenters' Company's Master Builders' Award recognized organizations and individuals that have made a significant contribution to Philadelphia's construction industry and built environment. Past recipients of the Award include city planner Edmund Bacon, developers Willard Rouse and Jerry Sweeny, architects Robert Stern, Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, and institutions such as the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Drexel University, and the General Building Contractors Association. The award will be given in recognition of Stephen Girard’s arrival from France in 1776 and his decision to remain in Philadelphia to build business, community, and education, and the important work that the estate continues to do in the city.

Following our ceremonies, the evening will conclude with dinner and live entertainment. Proceeds from the Gala support the Carpenters’ Company’s mission to preserve Carpenters’ Hall as a National Historic Landmark and to nurture emerging professionals in the ACE industries.
