Latin American Book Fair

We are proud to announce the 8th Edition of the Latin American Book Fair, taking place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the iconic Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Center.

The brightest light on Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts, the Kimmel Center is a dazzling regional performing arts venue that will serve as the perfect backdrop for this milestone celebration. This year’s event will feature a vibrant program of literary showcases, cultural performances, and community engagement in one of the city's most prestigious cultural landmarks.

Now in its eigth year, this remarkable event attracts over 30 authors, organizations, and community readers, and promises to be an incredible day filled with live music, dancing and delicious food. The Book Fair is expected to receive strong participation from across
the city. It will combine storytelling, book releases, music, and artistic performances. Our main goal is to foster a culture of reading within our community and to provide a platform for writers to share their work.
