OUR STORY

Ten years ago, I packed up my life and moved to Philadelphia, a city where I didn’t know a single person and had no clear idea what I was going to do for work. All I had was a stubborn belief that I could build something meaningful.

A decade later, I’ve worked with some of Philadelphia’s most respected media outlets, earned industry awards, and built a name that people recognize in the local media and communications space. It wasn’t always easy, but every step along the way shaped the foundation for what comes next.

I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur. Life just had other plans. What started out of necessity turned into opportunity  and now, after nearly two years of consulting on my own, I have no choice but to make it official. Alfaro Media Consulting is the next chapter.

This agency carries my family’s name because it carries my reputation, my passion, and my promise. I’m proud to have trusted partners by my side and a growing team ready to help more clients tell their stories, strengthen their brands, and make their mark. I’m not perfect and that’s part of what makes this journey real.

As Jim Friedlich of The Lenfest Institute once told The Philadelphia Inquirer when asked about me, he said I’m “determined, scrappy,” and good at “reinvention.”
