Karen Young brings a deep respect for nature, the gifts of a teacher and a life-long love of learning to the position of Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center director.
She graduated from Temple University with a bachelor of arts in communications and psychology but her found a career as an educator, first at the Academy of Natural Sciences and later at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center.
