Inspired by her experiences on a 2008 Penn summer archaeology dig in Greece, alumna Kate Myers’s national bestselling novel Excavations is now a comedy TV series Dig soon to air on Peacock, starring Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie. Produced by Mike Schur, co-creator of Parks & Recreation, Dig follows four women at an archaeological excavation whose discovery of an impossible artifact challenges long-held assumptions about history and gender.
