Maria Johansson

Maria Johansson earned her BA in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Westminster in London, UK, in 2012. Born and raised in Sweden, Maria has lived in Philadelphia since December 2013 and in both London and Veracruz, Mexico, before that.

She is an entrepreneur who started a proofreading and editing company, University Proofreading, in 2013. Furthermore, Maria is very passionate about being an international citizen and speaks three languages fluently. As the Membership Coordinator of Global Philadelphia, her responsibilities include maintaining and promoting membership in GPA and ensuring that all members are provided with ample opportunity to showcase their international features. Currently, she is the Sr Project Manager - Data, Analytics and Insights & Business Operations at Starbucks.
