Malcolm X #100 – 60th Annual Malcolm X Day Pilgrimage

Join the 60th Annual Malcolm X Day Pilgrimage to commemorate and honor the life, vision, and legacy of El Hajj Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X) on the 100th anniversary of his birth. For over 50 years, Philadelphia has stood strong in honoring one of the most powerful voices in the fight for Black freedom and human rights. This year, the Malcolm X Day Caravan will travel to Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY, where Malcolm X rests.

This year's theme honors the spirit and mission of Malcolm X in the 21st century, uplifting his message of self-determination, resistance, and legacy. Along the way, participants will also visit the gravesites of other leaders including Paul Robeson, Dr. Ben, Dr. Khallid Muhammad, and Aaliyah.
