Jill Fornito
In 2011, Jillian assumed the role of director of operations, focusing mainly on the planning and execution of GIC’s domestic and international events. Jillian continues to oversee the daily operations of the GIC office, including financial administration and communications.
Before joining the GIC staff, Jillian was the director of treasury for Greater Philadelphia Cares, a non-profit organization committed to volunteer engagement throughout the Philadelphia region. It was there that she strengthened her background in program administration, relationship building and non-profit management. Prior to her professional transition to the non-profit sector, Jillian worked as a human resources administrator at Towers Perrin, managing employee profit sharing, health and welfare and defined benefit plans.
A Bucks County native, Jillian graduated from La Salle University with a B.A. in communication. Her interest in global affairs began at a young age with her first trip abroad to Germany. While at La Salle, she studied communication and culture in Ireland and Greece. Jillian continues to feed her passion for travel through GIC’s extensive programming with recent events in Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, Milan, London and her ever-favorite, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
