MTM LinguaSoft Merges with Scriptis

MTM LinguaSoft, a Philadelphia language services company, merged its business operations earlier this month with Scriptis Translations, an ISO 17100-certified leader in business translation and localization solutions based in Québec, Canada.

Founded in 2003, MTM LinguaSoft specializes in localization for all print and digital multimedia formats. The company supports multilingual content needs for clients in fields like international trade, healthcare, corporate training and industrial manufacturing.

Through the merger, the entire MTM LinguaSoft team will retain their roles at the company’s Philadelphia office, which will now operate under the name Scriptis. Myriam Siftar, Founder and President of MTM LinguaSoft, will serve as Scriptis’ Managing Director for the U.S.

The merger has created a variety of benefits for MTM LinguaSoft clients, such as the opportunity to work with a larger team of project managers and in-house language specialists. In particular, the merger has enabled MTM LinguaSoft to offer clients additional expertise in large-volume translation for fields like engineering, insurance and financial services, retail and e-commerce, manufacturing and information technology.

“Joining forces with Scriptis allows us to continue doing what we do best, but more efficiently and on a larger scale,” Siftar said in a press release on June 8. “By leveraging the benefits of shared operations, we increase our capacities while continuing to offer hands-on project management and customized services. Scriptis is committed to supporting our clients’ growth in multilingual markets. In addition, Scriptis’ ISO 17100 certification provides extra assurance to clients seeking quality translations that meet international compliance standards.”
