On June 26th, 2015, when the Hermione's full scale replica will be moored in Independence Seaport, a reenactment of an historic 18th century culinary celebration will take place at Philadelphia's famed City Tavern Restaurant. It is a dinner recreation of a famous lunch that took place on May 4th, 1781, when the then Captain of the Hermione, La Touche-Treville, invited Samuel Huntington, the then President of the Continental Congress, and the whole Congressional delegation for lunch on board of the Hermione... They stayed for hours in what turned into a boisterous dockside dining extravaganza.

 The Philadelphia Ukrainian Festival will be held at the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center, indoors and outdoors from October 8th to the 11th.
