Get ready to celebrate SDG 3: Good Health and Well Being with Vybe Urgent Care and the Global Philadelphia Association on April 13th! Join us at vybe urgent care in West Philadelphia from 4 - 6 pm. This mural has been created by David Guinn, a talent local muralist whose work is displayed in numerous countries worldwide. 

Throughout history, forging has been one of the cornerstones of human development. As it relates to boat and ship construction, the smith and their forge play a key role in the smallest nail and the broadest axe. The ability to forge hardware and cutting tools has taken us from forming a basic log canoe with crude stone tools and fire to the most complex British ship of the line. Join us for a daylong introduction to an age-old trade where you will gain the knowledge and skill necessary to forge metal on your own. Materials and necessary tools are included.

The Many Resurrections of Henry Box Brown tells the story of Henry Brown, who escaped slavery in Virginia, in a shipping crate, and ended here in Philadelphia. He was a known abolitionist, magician, speaker, as well as a number of other things. He traveled to Canada and The United Kingdom, sharing himself with many. This book dives into the life he lived and how a lot of outside power and factors, shaped who Brown was, and the life he went on to live.
