Saturday, November 8, 2014 - 12:00am - Friday, November 14, 2014 - 11:59pm Team Pennsylvania Foundation is dedicated to supporting an international partnership with the Office of International Business Development. Together with their Center for Trade Development and the International Business Advisory Board, they are pleased to announce an emerging market mission to Turkey and Jordan. They invited you on a trade mission to Istanbul and Amman — two commercial hubs at the “crossroads” of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Turkey is the largest market by GDP in the Middle East and plays a central role in the regional economy. U.S. exports to Turkey are up nearly 164 percent from 2008 to 2013, and total U.S.-Turkey trade remains at record levels.
Jordan has strong, cooperative relations with its neighbors and the wider international business community. Because of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the U.S. and Jordan, bilateral trade has increased tenfold over the past 13 years.
Meeting face-to-face with prospective customers and partners is crucial to establishing business relationships in international markets. They can help you meet your business objectives by designing a business itinerary tailored to your company’s specific needs.
Itinerary is as follows:
November 8 – Arrive in Amman Jordan
November 9-10 – Business meetings in Jordan
November 11 – AM flight to Istanbul, possible evening event
November 12-13 – Business meetings in Istanbul
November 14 – AM business meetings, PM departure for the U.S.
