In 2003 Warren Oree and Graziella partnered to bring the 2003 Philadelphia Jazz and Poetry Festival to Philadelphia - the spark for LifeLine Music Coalition (LMC) , which ignited a passion and dedication for presenting PHILADELPHIA area jazz musicians in a festival setting.
From 2004 through 2011, LMC was the music producer for the West Oak Lane Jazz & Arts Festival - four outdoor stages with non-stop music for three days. In addition to the hundreds of Philadelphia artists who performed, the WOL Festival invited Chaka Khan, Roy Ayers, WAR, Ashford & Simpson, The O'Jays, Benny Golson, Tower of Power, Average White Band, Jeffrey Osborne, David Sanborne, Teena Marie, Esperanza Spalding and countless others.
This past June 2013, LMC was invited to produce the West Oak Lane Festival at the Keswick which once again brought the community together to experience the power of live music. Bobbi Humphrey, Roy Ayers, Carol Riddick, Urban Guerilla Orchestra and the Philadelphia Clef Clef Club Senior Youth Band, rocked the house.
Now, Warren Oree has led the way to bring it all home again to Center City, to the house which is JAZZ in PHILADELPHIA...the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts. The 2013 Philadelphia United Jazz Festival and Celebration will culminate on the weekend of September 21-22, 2013 and Philadelphia artists will take to a grand stage - like they're supposed to.
