Between 20 to 25 Brazilian hospital administrators will spend a week in Philadelphia in October 2013 for an agenda that includes two days at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, two days at Temple University Hospital and one day at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The program includes opportunities for the Brazilians to tour PIM hospital facilities, labs, pharmacies, etc. and opportunities for the Philadelphians and Brazilians to socialize.

Dine Latino Restaurant Week is a promotional campaign, now in its sixth iteration that seeks to boost the revenue of Latino-Owned restaurants by promoting the availability of dining options of any cuisine.

The spotlight is reserved for independent and local eateries owned by Latinos. Restaurants are asked to offer a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of two dinner entrees to patrons.
