Grammy-nominated headliners, cultural entertainers and powerhouse performers return to Penn’s Landing for Philadelphia’s largest one-day festival, the Global Fusion Festival. This year's festival, themed “Rhapsody”, is a part of Global Fusion Week which runs from Monday, July 16th - Sunday, July 22nd. The highlight of the Global Fusion Week is the much-anticipated FREE concert on Saturday, July 21st which brings buzz-worthy talent to the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing and attracts more than 30,000 attendees. All PECO Multicultural Series events are free.

During Global Fusion Week, locals and visitors take advantage of fusion-themed drink specials and restaurant discounts at numerous participating restaurants and bars throughout the city. “Fusion-inspired” performances showcasing the diversity of our region are also held at select Center City venues.

The event organizers explain this year's theme: "This year’s theme “Rhapsody”, represents the ecstatic expression Global Fusion Festival creates as Philadelphia’s unique cultures unite for one week, in the spirit of love and unity." Along with feel-good vibes, various discounts, and freebies, the Festival highlights multiple musical acts that exemplify the many cultures that can be found in the city. The festival celebrates Philadelphia’s African Diaspora, Hispanic, Caribbean and Asian cultures joining together to showcase their unity on one stage and is as an integral part of PECO’s Summer-long Multicultural Festival Series at Penn’s Landing.

This year's headliners include Grammy-nominated vocalist Kenny Lattimore, singer/songwriter Elle Varner, and R&B crooner Luke James. During the week leading up to to the main event on July 22nd, be sure to check out the many events that are part of the Global Fusion Week:
