http://olneyculturelab.wordpress.com Olney Youth Arts Festival is a multicultural celebration of youth creativity with a distinct focus on dance and movement. The event is designed to highlight different ethnic expressions towards cross-cultural awareness and to showcase the strength of various arts programs serving the children and youth in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.
The vast array of dance featured will include: breaking, hip hop, salsa, capoeira, ballet, modern, praise, among others. The Festival typically features several guest youth poets including City of Philadelphia’s Youth Poet Laureate and youth instrumental groups.
