Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture's Fall 2014 Arab Music Concert Series kicks off in October with Mohsen Namjoo (Iranian singer/songwriter/setar master) and Al-Bustan Takht ensemble in a concert of Persian and Arab music. The New York Times calls Namjoo the "Iranian Bob Dylan," and his music blends Persian classical poetry with rock, blues, and jazz.
He joins the Al-Bustan Takht Ensemble (virtuoso musicians in Arab music; many of them are Pew Fellows) on Saturday, October 18 at Trinity Center for Urban Life.
