The Many Resurrections of Henry Box Brown

The Many Resurrections of Henry Box Brown tells the story of Henry Brown, who escaped slavery in Virginia, in a shipping crate, and ended here in Philadelphia. He was a known abolitionist, magician, speaker, as well as a number of other things. He traveled to Canada and The United Kingdom, sharing himself with many. This book dives into the life he lived and how a lot of outside power and factors, shaped who Brown was, and the life he went on to live.
