"L.A. Rebellion: Creating a New Black Cinema" Series at the International House

This new film series at the International House features an intriguing line-up of movies by black filmmakers from several decades of the medium. 

The series is presented in association with UCLA Film & Television Archive and supported in part by grants from the Getty Foundation and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and curated by Allyson Nadia Field, Jan-Christopher Horak, Shannon Kelley, and Jacqueline Stewart.

Co-sponsored by Scribe Video Center, Temple University, Department of Film and Media Arts, and Philadelphia Weekly.
