Done in collaboration with the Universal Family of School’s Education Week, this dynamic program will feature music mogul, Kenny Gamble, Philadelphia Poet Laureate Sonia Sanchez, Aja Dantzler of Kindred The Family Soul and Odunde founders, Bumi and Lois Fernandez.
This event will also serve as a preview to the Odunde Festival, the oldest street festival in the country, and the unveiling of the Sonia Sanchez Peace Mural -- both happening that weekend.
Come celebrate the rich cultural traditions represented by these extraordinary Philadelphians! Admission is free but you must RSVP.
This program is sponsored by Universal Companies and PECO.
