GIC Executive Briefing: Outlook on Small Businesses

Date:
Wednesday, April 20, 2022 - 4:00pm - 5:00pm The small business economy continues to adapt to shifting Covid-19 related challenges. Small business owners are emerging from Covid related mandates to inflation pressures and staffing shortages.
Presenter and GIC Board Member, Holly Wade will discuss the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) surveys of small business owners to assess economic conditions facing small business owners and how owners are adjusting business operations accordingly. We’ll also be joined by Chris Wheat, who will share insights on small business financial outcomes—specifically highlighting differences along racial and gender lines. He will also address how Covid-19 has and hasn’t changed the small business landscape.
The Global Interdependence Center invites you to register for this Executive Briefing to explore small business through presentations and a live audience Q&A. The program will be moderated by GIC Vice Chair of Programs, Lisa McIntire Shaw.
