Registration opens at 6:30am; Race begins at 7:30am
Charitable Component:
Proceeds from this year's run will go to the "Law Enforcement Bicycle Patrol Fund" which is a fund setup by Friends of Independence to purchase new bicycles and maintain the current fleet for the Law Enforcement Bicycle Patrol here at the park.
Cost: Runners (21 and over) $30; Student runners (20 or younger) $20; VETERANS FREE (promocode:F5kVETERAN)
Why it's a cool race:
1. The route is through Old City. It's the first of its kind to have been able to do that.
2. Patriot or a Loyalist. In 1776, colonist had to make a choice. At registration, you do too.
3. Independence Hall is a UNESCO World Heritage site - recognized for its universal value. This is an awesome way to support a global treasure.
