Norwegian Fall picnic with pool noodle sword workshop and tournament for the kids

District 3, Zone 6 Picnic on Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m. (Lodges in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and District of Columbia) Fredriksten Lodge is looking forward to having you all over for the Zone 6 picnic on Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m. The address is 187 State Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020 and you can reach us via phone (215) 245-7786. We have planned a BBQ with pulled pork sandwiches for the adults, hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids. Please bring a side dish, snack, or dessert, and your choice of beverages. Activities for the kids include a pool-noodle sword-making workshop and tournament to follow. There are also indoor games and story time planned the kids. The sword-making workshop and tournament is limited to kids under 12. Fredriksten's Brew and Beer Club will be hosting a beer tasting, showcasing local Philadelphia breweries for the adults. There are also rumors of hatchet tossing competition. We will have a fire pit and s'mores available for a last taste of summer nights in front of the bonfire. The cost is $10 per person, and this will also cover the supplies for pool-noodle swords and viking helmets for the kids. Please bring camping chairs, beverages, and a side dish, snack, or dessert!
