Black Grace, New Zealand’s top contemporary dance troupe and winners of the Herald Angel Award at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, makes its Dance Celebration debut.
The company works through the prism of Pacific Islanders culture performing powerful and compelling choreography filled with physical prowess and stunning imagery by founder Neil Ieremia. “An aesthetic delight” (Badische Zeitung), Black Grace is “a polished, pungent, bone-crunchingly, physical and perfectly executed alchemy of music, muscle and motion.” (New Zealand Herald)
